To All My Family, Friends and Clients,
Things have gone well enough the past few years that I have been able to build a new house in Pennsylvania.  I hope to rent it on a daily/weekend basis when I am not using it.  When I am not there and it has not been rented, I would like to extend my hospitality and share it with all of you.  If you are interested in using the house just contact Laura in my office @ (718) 317-8495 or (fill out the form below) and she will let you know if it is available for the time you want.  The house is complete, I just need to finish little things – one of the decks (PLEASE DO NOT LEAN ON THE RAILINGS!), some finishing touches .  It is fairly well furnished aside from a few odds and ends.  The house is quite large and can sleep many people, as it has a king size bed in the master bedroom and a loft with a queen size air mattress.  There are two bed rooms on the first floor, one with two twin size beds and one with a full size bed.  Also, in the living room there is a full size pull out couch. Eventually, I plan on making the basement a game room with a pool table and ping-pong table (not yet).  It’s a fun place to hang out at, party or just relax.
It has a fireplace, washer/dryer, a 57” TV. in the living room; a 51” in the master bedroom and a small flatscreen TV in one of the spare rooms are just some of the amenities (along with an ADT security alarm system).
I’m not asking you for any rental fees, just be so kind as to throw me a few dollars to cover expenses for electricity, water and any perishables you might use. Please, no pets, no smoking and no little children under double digits.
I have annexed some still and movie pix of some of the rooms.

Directions

From NJ Turnpike:  Take it to exit 14. BE careful - you want x14 to Clinton and NOT NOT NOT 14 A, B or C (there are 4 exits for 14, once you head to the exit marked 14).  When paying toll at x14, stay to your extreme right, to rte 78 West LOCAL.  After toll, you go under an overpass and a few hundred yards later you need to bear to the extreme right to get onto rte 78 West LOCAL to Clinton.  Stay on 78 West Local until you see the sign for Garden State Parkway NORTH exit. Take exit and head to GSP NORTH, for  3 exits to the exit for Route 280 West. Stay on Route 280 west. The left lane of Rte 280 West ends by merging with Route 80 West.

FROM everywhere, including Manhattan & points North –

From Route 80 West: Continue on Route 80 West to the Delaware Water Gap (the border between NJ & PA). Once over the Delaware Water Gap, the 2nd exit (a few seconds after toll) is exit 309 (Marshalls Creek).  Get off and stay to the right, which is Route 209 North.  Stay on it for a short distance (on the left you'll see a drive thru Dunkin Donuts and take out place in one store, run by some Egyptians - they make an awesome Italian Hero worth buying - hey, it's America! A few lights later, you'll see on the right, Marshall's Creek Bypass. Take it & you'll come to two "roundabouts". Stay right, onto Route 209 North. It'll put you onto Rte 209 at the Wendy's. Staying right onto Rte 209 & immediately after the Wendys get in the LEFT lane - you'll immediately see across the road "Oak Grove Drive" (& Price chopper). TAKE IT ! It winds around until it ends at Rte 402. You want to go right, to Rte 402 North. Take it a short distance and you'll see a Deerfield SPA sign on the right. As soon as you do - SLOW DOWN and take the next Left (Coolbaugh Road). If you pass the yellow & blue “Camp ESH” sign on the right, you just missed the left turn onto Coolbaugh Road. You will be heading for about 1.9 miles on this road. You will be going uphill most of the way. Then all of a sudden it goes downhill at a sharp turn in the road where there's a sign that says on the left "Tompkins". After that, you'll still head downhill for a minute and then see an extremely ugly blue house on the left. Straight ahead is uphill and there is a really nice house that seems to be nearly in front of you (but as you get closer, it’s on the right) that has a sign in front, "Evergreen Estates". Take the next left, which is about 50 yrds ahead, past that house. You are making a left turn onto Tego Lake Road. You'll see a yellow line dividing Tego Lake Road from drivers on both sides. Continue for ½ mile and at the point where the yellow line disappears and the road appears to narrow, on the right side, is Horning Road. Make a right turn. Street is unpaved and full of potholes - go slow!

Fifth house down, on the left, is the biggest house on the block with a green and beige outside and a two car garage facing you. That’s the house (me). Landmark: It's the house after #32 (Smith) which is an incredibly ugly white box that looks like a trailer home.  Pull in to the driveway. The address is 2133 Horning Road as shown on the mailbox.

Total distance from Rte 80 is 9 miles.  From my house in Staten Island, 93 miles.

Note that you should take the NJ Turnpike back to Staten Island and points south or Route 80 east to Manhattan and points north.
